Cover, 14-Inch (47605-140) makes running cable and managing media both
simple and more cost-effective. Designed to provide a central
distribution point for all your home or small office technologies, the
enclosure accommodates networking, fax, Internet, DSL and cable. The
Series 140 is the entry level for home networking. This professional
grade enclosure creates one distribution point for an apartment or
smaller home for all low voltage cables. It accommodates two
Pre-Configured Structured Cabling Panels and is built tough to make
installation easier and help reduce labor costs.
- Accommodates two or more full-width Pre-Configured Structured Cabling Panels.
- Positive tabs on housing sidewalls prevent enclosure from falling through the studs during installation.
- One piece white steel unit holds 1/4, 1/2 and full-width expansion modules with the ability to mount most modules vertically or horizontally.
- Can be surface-mounted or recessed.
- Ideal for new installations and retrofits.
- Powder coated white cover features 3/4" overlap to hide irregular drywall cuts.
- Combine two or more enclosures for larger installations or future expansion.
- Multiple knock-outs on top and bottom, including two 2" knock-outs on top, facilitate cable entry and routing.
- Cut-out in base of enclosure for mounting single and double gang J-boxes and power modules.
- Six 3" square self-healing foam grommets accommodate and protect cable bundles.
- Cutout pattern in bottom accommodates the same Leviton Power Modules for any necessary active gear like service provider modems or Leviton active routers and switches.
