The basic design of this socket has not changed since its original inception in 1956 making this a solid, time-proven design.
- Meter socket is designed for use in underground feed applications only
- 200 Amp continuous, 250 Amp maximum rated
- 4 ground/neutral lugs provided
- 4-jaw, ringless type meter socket
- Horn bypass: small tabs or "horns" on the line and load side of the meter socket act as electrical connection points for the utility to install a bypassing means- usually a specially produced wire or "jumper" designed for this specific application
- Lay-in: #6-350 lugs
- 7/8 in. barrel lock provision for a utility security lock (lock not included)
