The AprilAire 1413 High-Performance Upgrade Kit is an easy-to-install filter frame system that eliminates the pleat spacers and the work involved with filter replacements.
The 1413 Kit is a one-time installation that assembles without tools and converts your equipment from AprilAire 401 MERV 10 Air Filter media to AprilAire Healthy Home 4-inch High Performance Air Filter media. The Kit takes just 30 seconds to snap together, slides directly into your air purifier, and includes one AprilAire 413 Healthy Air 13 Air Filter which lasts for up to a year.
The 413 whole-home filter traps and removes the most common allergens including airborne pollen, mold spores, bacteria, pet dander, dust particles, and dust mites as air circulates through the MERV 13 filter. When it's time to change the 413 filter, you can replace it with another AprilAire 413 Healthy Air 13 Air Filter, or choose from any of the AprilAire compatible filters ranging from MERV 11 through MERV 16. With the 1413 Upgrade Kit, you're no longer limited to using only AprilAire 401 MERV 10 filter media in your AprilAire 2140 or 2400 or Space-Gard 2400 Whole-Home Air Purifier unit.
