Description
Hydrolevel low water cut-offs are electrically operated. A probe is installed in the boiler shell or external manifold and is connected to the control unit. Water is used as a conductor to complete the circuit between the probe and the boiler shell. When water is in contact with the probe, the circuit is completed; when the water level drops below the probe, the circuit opens. Hydrolevel controls provide contacts to de-energize the burner circuit in a low water condition.
- Automatically shuts off burner in a low water condition to prevent boiler damage
- Heavy duty electro-mechanical design for long life
- Low maintenance, no moving parts to wear or stick
- Auto reset feature automatically re-energizes circuit upon return to safe water level
- Manual reset feature requires manual reset if low water condition exists for 30 SEC or longer
- Test button allows operator to test control operation without lowering water level
- Meets ASME CSD-1 requirements for secondary cut-offs on commercial steam boilers
- LED indicating lights
- 3/4 IN or 1/2 IN NPT probe nut
- Glazed ceramic probe insulator, 316 stainless steel probe tip, brass probe nut
